Print failure? Put tray aside and alert staff via Slack so they can properly inspect the tank. If this tank is used again, it may be damaged further.

Quick guide:

  1. Download PreForm, create account and log in

  2. Request access to cloud group by emailing shop@mhubchicago.com, include the email attached to your PreForm account
  3. Open .stl file in PreForm

  4. Select printer and material (Shop printer is FranticDassie)

  5. Orient part and generate supports (if you are unsure of optimal orientation use One-Click-Print)

  6. Click the orange print button on the right side of the screen (this will send the file to the printer)

  7. To pay for the print upload the files to mHUB 3D Printing Services: select SLA, material, layer height, and pay

  8. Once at the printer, insert the correct material cartridge and build tank

  9. Check that the build platform is clean and inserted correctly. Clean with isopropyl alcohol, making sure it is dry, then insert fully and lock the release lever down

  10. Start your print

  11. Once print is complete remove build tray and place in the TPM wash station for 15 minutes. Note: wash station is NOT isopropyl

  12. Once wash is complete, remove part from build platform carefully with a scraper and use blue tray to take print to slop sink

  13. Rinse part with water for 5 minutes

  14. If part remains tacky rinse in isopropyl bath located near the printer

  15. Clean build tray and scraper with isopropyl alcohol

  16. Look at curing datasheet below to see if the material requires a post cure. If so, use the cure station located next to the wash station. Note: you may remove supports and sand part before or after this stage. DO NOT put the build tray into the cure chamber

  17. Enjoy your finished part!
